In The Black Reus Guide — All Variants, Loadouts & Tactics
The all-rounder. Medium hull with enough armor to brawl and enough mounts to carry a real weapon mix.
Overview
The Reus is what most pilots will fly after their first 10 hours. It is the textbook medium hull: enough mass to mount a serious cannon, enough thrust to keep up with running fights, and enough armor to survive a missile chase. The Comet variant is the most popular Contract mode pick because it can solo every PvE objective in the game.

How to fly the Reus
The Reus is friendly to new In The Black pilots — its handling forgives Newtonian mistakes and rotates fast enough to recover from over-burns. Start in Simulator, then take it into Debris Sweep contracts before queuing BloodSport.
